1. Information We Collect
1.1 Audio Files
To enable music playback and library management features, we require access to audio files you import into the App. We:
- Only process audio files that you explicitly import via the file picker or Wi-Fi transfer
- Store imported audio files locally on your device within the App's sandbox
- Do not upload your audio files to any server
- Extract metadata (title, artist, album, cover art, lyrics) from audio files locally on your device
1.2 Local Network Access
The App provides a Wi-Fi transfer feature that runs a local HTTP server on your device. We:
- Only activate the local server when you explicitly enable the Wi-Fi transfer feature
- Use the local network solely to receive audio files from other devices on the same Wi-Fi network
- Do not transmit any data outside your local network
- Automatically stop the server when you leave the Wi-Fi transfer screen
1.3 Online Services
The App offers optional online matching features for cover art and lyrics:
- Cover art matching uses the MusicBrainz API and Cover Art Archive to search for album artwork based on song title and artist name
- Lyrics matching uses the LRCLIB API to search for song lyrics based on song title and artist name
- Only song metadata (title and artist name) is sent to these services — no audio files or personal data are transmitted
- These features are optional and require explicit user action to activate
1.4 App Usage Data
We collect anonymous usage data to improve the App, including:
- Number of App launches
- Frequency of feature usage
- Crash reports and performance data
This data is completely anonymous and does not contain any personally identifiable information.
2. How We Use Information
We use the collected information solely for the following purposes:
- To play audio files and manage your music library
- To extract and display song metadata (title, artist, album, cover art, lyrics)
- To provide Wi-Fi transfer functionality for importing audio files
- To match cover art and lyrics from online services when requested by you
- To apply audio equalizer settings to enhance your listening experience
- To improve App performance and user experience
- To diagnose and fix technical issues
3. Information Sharing
We do not share your audio files, music library data, or any personal information with any third parties. All audio processing and library management are performed locally on your device. The only external communication occurs when you explicitly use the online cover art or lyrics matching features, which only transmits song metadata (title and artist).
4. Data Storage and Retention
- All audio files are stored locally on your device within the App's sandbox
- Music library data (playlists, play history, equalizer settings) is stored locally using SwiftData
- We do not store any of your data on our servers
- Playback state and preferences are saved locally via UserDefaults
- When you delete a song from the App, the associated audio file and metadata are permanently removed from your device
5. Your Rights
You may at any time:
- Delete any imported songs or playlists from the App
- Revoke local network access permission through system settings
- Delete the App to clear all related data including imported audio files
- Contact us with privacy-related questions
6. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for general audiences and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be announced within the App or on our website.
