These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of Just Record, also known as VoiceRecord or 随声录 (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Important: The App provides voice recording, transcription, and local record management tools. You are responsible for using these tools lawfully and for confirming that your recording and sharing activities comply with applicable laws and consent requirements.

The developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use the App for personal and lawful purposes, subject to these Terms and Apple’s applicable terms of use.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your recording activities comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and platform requirements. Laws regarding audio recording, call recording, workplace recording, public recording, private conversations, consent, notice, storage, and disclosure vary by jurisdiction.
You are responsible for obtaining consent from speakers or other persons where consent is required. The App does not determine whether a recording is lawful, whether consent has been obtained, or whether a specific use is permitted in your location or situation.
You are responsible for the audio, transcript text, titles, notes, files, and other content that you record, import, save, export, copy, or share using the App. You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to use, store, export, copy, and share such content.
The developer does not claim ownership of the recordings or transcript text you create with the App.
You must not use the App to:
Transcription accuracy may vary depending on background noise, speaker clarity, speaking speed, language, accent, pronunciation, microphone quality, audio quality, device capability, iOS version, supported speech recognition languages, network conditions, and system speech recognition availability.
The App does not guarantee perfect transcription accuracy. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting transcript text before relying on it, exporting it, copying it, sharing it, or using it for important purposes.
Some features may depend on device permissions, iOS version, supported speech recognition languages, Apple system services, network availability, local storage availability, or third-party SDK availability. If a required permission is denied, unavailable, restricted, or later revoked, the related feature may not work.
Speech recognition may depend on Apple system speech recognition services. Advertising may depend on Google Mobile Ads. Analytics may depend on Firebase Analytics. These services may change, become unavailable, or operate differently based on region, device, system settings, or provider policies.
Recordings and transcript text are primarily stored locally on your device, and the App does not intentionally upload them to the developer’s own server. Advertising, analytics, permissions, speech recognition processing, local storage, sharing, and deletion are described in the App’s Privacy Policy.
The developer may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features as needed for quality improvements, technical changes, security, legal compliance, third-party SDK changes, App Store requirements, business reasons, or compatibility with iOS and Apple services.
The developer does not guarantee that the App or any specific feature will remain available forever or will work on every current or future device, iOS version, language, region, or network environment.
The App, including its software, design, text, layout, trademarks, logos, and other materials, is owned by the developer or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the App to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The developer does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, compatible with every device or iOS version, or suitable for any particular purpose. The developer does not warrant that transcription results will be complete, reliable, legally sufficient, or free from mistakes.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of recordings, inaccurate transcription, missed obligations, legal consequences of recording activities, privacy claims, lost profits, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
These Terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for the App. Your use of the App may also be subject to Apple Media Services terms and Apple’s applicable standard licensed application terms.
The developer may update these Terms when the App’s features, technology, third-party dependencies, legal requirements, or business needs change. Material changes will be identified on this page or in the App where appropriate. The “Last updated” date above shows when these Terms were most recently revised.
These Terms are governed by applicable laws to the extent they do not conflict with mandatory consumer protection laws in your place of residence. If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect.
